Octopus Records is an independent Label based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, U.K established in 2009. A group of passionate Music Lovers inspired by the good old days of music when the likes of Decca, Island, Pye and Fontana in the Sixties gave the Artist control of their own destiny and aloud Freedom to express what they really wanted to do with their music.

The attention to detail goes along way also with us taking pride in producing Vinyl Albums aswell as C.D, You just can't beat the sound of those crackles as you place the needle onto a record before iit plays your favourite songs.

2010 has already seen the launch of The Black Apples Debut Album with a Limited run of 300 copies on 12" Vinyl featuring brand new songs from the band aswell as an extended version on C.D and soon to be available as downloads.

We are looking forward to bringing in new Artists this year to compliment what we have already achieved and making Octopus Records an attractive label full of talented Musicians bringing new exposure to the Artists involved.

Our Brand new online store will be available very soon with The Black Apples latest release available to buy on 12" Vinyl, C.D and Digital Download. There will also be Octopus Records and Artists Merchandise coming soon.

Our Youtube channel will be available soon with all associated Videos all in one place including the Chris Stone Directed Video to The Black Apples 'Don't Fool Me Now' and Live Videos from the Octopus Records Launch Party earlier this year.
